The Young Parent Program: assists young pregnant and parenting people in completing their high school diploma. Clients access Life Skills education and resources as well as having their child care needs met. The Young Parent Program also offers outreach, advocacy, support and referrals.

Program Goals: To assist young persons who are pregnant or parenting with their Life Skills & Parenting education.

Program Components:

• Regular Life Skills workshops and coaching.
  
• Consultation and information regarding child care, early childhood development and parenting.
  
• One on one time for parenting needs.
  
• Meal planning and lunch discussion time at On Line Learning Centre.
  
• If time is available, Life Skills coaching and advocacy for youth working towards Independent Living.
  
  Eligibility: On-line Students, Community young parents, students who are working toward independent living.
